How do schools submit related services and evaluation referrals?
This article will explain how schools submit related services and evaluation referrals within the Pearson Online Classroom.
Schools have separate referral data views for Speech, Occupational Therapy, Counseling, and Psychology (evaluations). If a referral for one of these service lines is sent to a third-party vendor, a HubSpot ticket will be generated. Referrals for third-party evaluations and related services are made within the 3rd Party Referral Data View which generates HubSpot tickets with referral details.
Schools submit referrals whenever a service has been added to the IEP, a new student enrolls with related services, or an evaluation has been requested. Schools may also submit changes if the setting or minutes have changed, or if the service has been removed from the IEP. Third-party referrals will continue to have tickets generated via HubSpot and will be sent to approved vendors via the customer portal.
